Bob Faber - President
Bob Faber is the founder and President of Salt Ventures NFP. He has served for over 25 years in Sofia, Bulgaria. His work includes teaching, church planting and community development. He and his wife Becky have three grown children and 14 grandchildren. Prior to his service in Bulgaria he was a businessman in the technology industry.

Heidi Truty - Secretary
Heidi Truty is a native of the Chicago area, recently returned after a time living in Colorado. She is currently retired having worked in libraries, archives, and social service organizations. In line with her passion for Spiritual Formation, she is nearing the completion of a program to be a certified Spiritual Director. She and her husband Chris have 3 adult children and 4 grandchildren with 2 more on the way.

Claudia Root - Director
Claudia Root is a founder of Salt Ventures. She taught ESL to immigrant and refugee students in public schools for over 25 years. She is an adjunct professor since 2003 and has led workshops in several countries. Recently retired, she is now focused on training the next generation of worldwide English teachers through her years of experience and passion for diverse cultures and people groups.

Rusty Popp - Director
Rusty Popp has been involved in the manufactured housing industry for 20 years. Originally an owner/operator of residential communities, he now serves as a manager at a production facility. Rusty has been involved in missions organizations in Eastern Europe for over 25 years in a variety of roles. He and his wife Mindy have two children.

Scott Moreau - Director
Scott Moreau is a founder of Salt Ventures and Professor Emeritus of Wheaton College. His professional interests include contextualization of the Christian faith, issues related to phenomenology, and technology in missions. For 16 years, he was the editor of Evangelical Missions Quarterly and the Encountering Mission series (Baker). He has written or edited over 20 books and 300 articles, and has received numerous recognitions for his writing, teaching, speaking and service to society.

Tony Lalev - Director
Tony Lalev is a founder of Salt Ventures and the President of St'. Trivelius Institute, the leading inter-denominational school of theology in Bulgaria. He is an ordained Pastor and businessman. He is married with 2 children.
