This mission trip is not what I had originally imagined. Many of my friends from college are also on mission trips this summer, and theirs are between one and four weeks, where they go into the community and do a lot of evangelism or work. This is what I think of as a typical mission trip.

My main takeaway from that week was how different denominations can work together and appreciate the beauty in each other. It was also evidence of the deep relationships Salt Ventures has made over the years that have created trust in the communities that they serve.
